Melaminefaced hardboard is produced in the same way as standard HPL laminate; i.e. hotpressing a decorative layer impregnated with melamine resins and supportinglayer in fibreboard. Hardboard is used as complementary product to plastic laminatein special applications. Typical examples include vertical surfaces forpartition walls, doors and work surfaces for household kitchen goods.

Thisis a HPL laminate produced by using a thin layer of aluminium or brass foilinstead of decorative paper. Metal laminate is used in the vertical facing offittings for industry, business and residential purposes. If required it can besupplied with a protective film coating to protect surface.
