Thanks to the excellent properties of the flax fiber, linen clots are warrant comfortable wear. We are using dew retted or water retted flax fiber, or on demand intimate blends with synthetic fibers. Linen yarns and threads are made by classical wet spinning or semi wet (half wet) spinning process. Multiform finishing brings large variety of color and technical characteristic. The color can be raw (natural linen color) bleached (1/8 white,1/4 white, ½ white, or optical white), boiled or dyed. More than 30 variations can be presented from one count number. We are producing yarn with both “Z” and “S” twist.
Main applications are:
New Slubby Flax Yarn
We are developing a new slubby linen yarn. Both of wet-, and semi-wet spun version is available. The count range is Nm 2,4 - 15. Finest yarn count, up to Nm 39 is coming soon. Slubbs are generated mechanically, using a special patented system, which ensure native-like pattern in fabric, avoiding periodical effects.

Linen-Modal and Linen-Tencel blended yarn
In cooperation with Lenzing AG we developed new blends like 33 % Modal – 67 % linen and 33 % Tencel – 67 % linen weaving yarns. Tencel blends use A-100 fiber
These blended yarns are produced on tradiotional ring spinning system, wet spun,
- raw,
- pre- bleached on rove
- pre –boiled on rove.
Following samples are avaible:
33 % Tencel 67 % Linen – Bleached and boiled, yarn count:
Nm 20 2F - boiled
Nm 24 2F - boiled
Nm 33 2F - boiled
Nm 20 F3 – bleached
Nm 24 F3 – bleached
Nm 33 F3 – bleached
33 % Modal 67 % Linen – Bleached and boiled, yarn count:
Nm 20 2F - boiled
Nm 24 2F - boiled
Nm 33 2F - boiled
Nm 20 F3 – bleached
Nm 24 F3 – bleached
Nm 33 F3 – bleached
33 % Modal 67 % Linen – natural, raw , yarn count:
Nm 15
Nm 12
Nm 9,6
Nm 10
The Modal or Tencel blended yarns comparing with 100 % linen have a softer touch, shiny, less irregulaty, the number of thin and thick places and neps decreased..
Elongation of 100 % linen yarn is under 2 %, the blends have a higher elongation, a better weaving performance expected.
Tencel recomended for fabrics, keeping linen natural color and linen charakter, Modal recomended for bleached or dyed fabric, mercerized finish.
