In recent years, the sports leisure markets in Korea have been growing rapidly because of the increase of leisure time, increased awareness of personal health and increased demands for healthy entertainment.

With the growth rate of the sports leisure markets at 15~20% per year, it is estimated that in the year 2010, these markets will be worth 40 trillion won (or 31 billion USD). Korean Leisure Industry Research reported that

the growth of the sports leisure industry will be ranked as the top among leisure industries, meaning the Korean domestic leisure market still has room to grow.

Korea is not the only country that is expanding its sports leisure markets. Many foreign markets, led by America, are growing as rapidly as Korea. Publications, like the Independent in England and the Wall Street Journal in the USA, emphasize the importance of health and welfare continuously. Therefore, people all around the world are beginning to pay attention to leisure sports.

Though these markets have great growth opportunity, domestic production is unfortunately very low-less than 10% in domestic leisure markets.

But we challenge these markets. Even though our company is young, we will strive to be the best company by producing our Essboard. The Essboard has already been acknowledged as a high-quality product by winning various prizes. Beginning now in 2004, we promise that the Essboard will come into wider use in Korea. In addition, we will expand the Essboard market to America, Japan and China in the near future.
