The First Branch Factory of Tianjin Hebei Pharmaceutical Factory is a factory producing the primary pharmaceuticals of chemosynthesis mainly. It's one of the producers which were appointed the designated producing factory for psychic pharmaceuticals, caffein, unitedly governed by both Ministry of Public Health and State Medical Administrative Bureau. It possesses tremendous technical strength, well- equipped producing installatioons, very well- equipped supplementary producing facilities and advanced checkout equipment for the products.

   The produced primary pharmaceuticals of the main products are composed of over ten variety, such as caffein, theophyline, aminophyline, metronidazole, benzoylmetronidazole, nifedipine and intermediate of the various primary pharmaceuticals; among them the annual output of caffein is up to 800 tons with 90% that exported to earn foreign exchange. The preparation product is the oral liquid of benzoylmetronidazole suspension.
