Technology

1. Enzyme screening, mutation & evolution: TC-zyme Series. We have screened various enzymes from nature and genome data using our own software and hardware systems. The following are representative: glycosidase, ismerases, lipases and phospholipases. We have several Korean patents on those topics. The genes screened have been expressed in E. coli, Bacillus, yeast and Aspergillus vector-host systems. We have established four mutation technologies; UV, chemical, gamma-ray and atomic shock. In addition, we have established a DNA shjffling and display technology. Using these technologies, we have been selling the thermophilic enzymes named "TC-Zyme series."

2. Biotransformation of natural substances: Nutrazyme, Ya-Maek and Da-Ae
We have launched functional food product called "Nutrazyme series" and other nutraceuticals called "Ya-Maek" and "Da-Ae" using biotransformation and extraction technology. There are so many glycons in nature. Enzyme can be used to cut the glycosides and transfer glycoside part to other compounds. Using these techniques, we can increase bio-activity and stability and decrease toxicity.
